this will be an entrance

the new anathallo album, Floating World, comes out February 25th. i'm really looking forward to it. so most likely, you should be too. and check out that poster up there if you're from chicago like me. they're playing a record release show at schubas. which is the way to truly experience the band. no kidding, it's going to be a Really good show. check out two new songs from the album to know what i'm talking about here. and hey, if you still haven't heard my interview with the band, get on that.

this is the year of danielson, not the dog

so the new danielson is something to look forward to. if you want proof, (beyond my own good word) listen to their song on myspace, 'did i step on your trumpet?' and join us all in the excitement of the new wonderful music of daniel smith and co. also, they're coming out with a documentary. the preview is a lot of fun and i bet the movie itself will be even better! and if you haven't seen 'why should the devil have all the good music?' yet, daniel says some great words about Christians in music in that movie. so just be aware of the intense flood of danielsonship that is about to hit the indie nation, brace yourself for catlike yelps and words of love and joy.

'moody indie review' this week, 'Makers' by Rocky Votolato. aired 1030pm Chicago time, this wednesday at
